Our button layouts show a SAFE AREA and a BLEED EDGE. To insure that the design does not fall off the "face" of the button, place the elements that you want on the face of the button in the safe area. If there is a background color or image, extend that to cover to the bleed edge.

Most of our magnet templates only have a DIE CUT LINE. Some will include an image area and a bleed edge, but for the most part they will only have a die cut line.

For art set-up you should keep your most important elements 1/8" within the die cut line.

Your bleed color or image should extend 1/8" out from the die cut line.

To insure proper placement, keep the elements that you do not want cut off in the IMAGE AREA. Extend background colors or image to the BLEED EDGE. DIE CUT LINE is where the keytag will be cut.
